Overview

Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones is designed to allow BlackBerry smartphone users to add Facebook friends to the Contacts application on the BlackBerry smartphone.

To add a Facebook friend to the Contacts application on the BlackBerry smartphone, complete the following steps:

  1. In the Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones application, click the Friends icon.
  2. Click on a friend's name, or click the Menu key.
  3. Click Connect to BlackBerry Contact.
  4. Click New Contact.

Once the friend is added, the BlackBerry smartphone user can select the contact in the Contacts application, display the menu, and select Facebook. The following options are available:

  • Send Message
  • Write on Wall
  • Poke
