Package net.rim.device.api.servicebook Description

Service Book Classes and Definitions.

The ServiceBook allows you to store setup and configuration information on your BlackBerry Wireless Handheld. The ServiceBook contains ServiceRecords that define information about BlackBerry connections.

Service records are commonly used to manage the handheld's CMIME (mail) and IPPP (Internet connections). For example, you can use a service record to keep of multiple email connections or to search for individual emails within an email hierarchy based on the email item's content ID (CID). Service records are also valuable for keeping track of network UIDs, allowing you to easily manage MDS connections.
