Find out more and get the downloads:

  • BlackBerry Application Web Loader
The BlackBerry Application Web Loader is an additional alternative for easy application deployment to BlackBerry devices via a USB cable and hosted website. Developers can centrally host applications on a company intranet or public webserver, making it easy to post application updates for BlackBerry users to download as they are available. By simply connecting to a PC via USB connection and visiting this hosted website, users can load applications to their BlackBerry device without installing the BlackBerry Desktop Manager or incurring airtime charges associated with OTA downloads.

  • BlackBerry Simulators
BlackBerry simulators can emulate functionality of actual BlackBerry products, including BlackBerry devices and the BlackBerry Enterprise Server™.
    • Use BlackBerry device simulators to demonstrate and test how the BlackBerry device software, screen, keyboard and trackwheel will work with your application. These simulators will also simulate behavior in various wireless network conditions. Device simulators are great tools for testing, training and for use in presentations. • The BlackBerry email simulator and BlackBerry MDS Simulator package can emulate certain aspects of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. When used in conjunction with a BlackBerry device simulator, users can simulate browsing web content, sending and receiving email or application data traffic.

  • BlackBerry Java Development Environment Component Package v4.1.0
The BlackBerry Java™ Development Environment (JDE) Component Package v4.1.0 comprises a subset of utilities found in the full BlackBerry JDE v4.1 download. These components are required for the development of third party applications for BlackBerry using external integrated development environments (IDE). Included in the component package are the RAPC compiler, which compiles .java and .jar files into .cod files that can be run in the BlackBerry device simulator or loaded onto a BlackBerry device; the JavaLoader tool which allows applications to be added or updated on a BlackBerry device from a command prompt; and the Java Debug Wire Protocol (JDWP) proxy, which enables the debugging of applications using third party IDEs.
