If you have questions, we have answers. Write to the BlackBerry Guru with your requests.
Q: I am trying to read an event in Blackberry using JDE 4.0.2, and I want to read the private field of a particular event.
A: If the call to SupportedField() returns false, then that field is not supported in the API. There would not be any work around to this.
Q: I just purchased a certificate key to be able to sign my BlackBerry applications to use the protected RIM Runtime API. However, when I use the maps API I seem to need a signature from a RBB signer. Do I need a separate certificate for that? If so, how do I get it?
A: The BlackBerry JDE Signature keys are a combination of three csi files - RBB, RCR and RRT. Each csi file is sent out in a separate email where you are required to register all three on the same development workstation where you will be completing the signing. Please ensure that you have received all three emails containing a unique csi file. |
