Department Of Veteran Affairs Uses Cutting Edge Wireless Technology To Meet Its Mobility Needs

Campbell, CA - itrezzo has added the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) to its growing list of customers, allowing the veteran advocacy agency to provide seamless service to its customers and maintain constant communication between its employees.

The federal agency manages one of the largest health care systems in the United States and is a key Federal employer, with a workforce of over 200,000 employees. VA maintains one of the largest Microsoft Exchange installations in the federal government, and plans to use itrezzo's itrezzoAgent software to give its employees wireless access to the Exchange Global Address List, web content and file attachments.

With itrezzo's integrated messaging, VA staff are notified of incoming messages via e-mail on their BlackBerry wireless handheld. Numeric pages, voicemail messages, faxes, and phone calls are all accessible; calls and faxes can be forwarded to and from a toll free number, and detailed caller ID is included for all messages.

The itrezzoAgent is also able to convert and print file attachments sent to the user. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or PDF attachments can be read; even website URLs included in a message are accessible, as itrezzoAgent opens the URL and converts it to text.
