Cingular Provides Mobile Wireless Service to Attorneys, Staff at Kelly Drye & Warren LLP

More than 300 law firm employees in seven cities send and receive critical e-mail messages with handheld devices enabled on the Cingular Wireless data-only network

Woodbridge, NJ - "Order in the court" has taken on new meaning for employees of New York-based international law firm Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, thanks to an innovative wireless data service provided by Cingular Wireless.

More than 300 Kelley Drye employees located in seven U.S. cities - New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Tysons Corner, Va., Stamford, CT. and Parsippany, N.J - are using Cingular's Corporate E-mail Service, based on the BlackBerry™ wireless E-mail solutions. Corporate E-mail allows the firms' employees to quickly and efficiently send and receive their e-mail via wireless handhelds, utilizing the company's existing Microsoft Exchange system, without having to use a laptop computer.

According to Judi Flournoy, Director of Information Technology for Kelley Drye, the Cingular solution is a vital communications tool that gives attorneys, law clerks, paralegals and administrative staff access to vital, up-to-the-minute information - in some cases, just moments before heading into the courtroom.

"Cingular has made our people true mobile professionals," said Ms. Flournoy. "More and more of an attorney's time is spent out of the office. Now, they're able to communicate quickly - with one another and, more importantly, with clients - wherever they are without having to hunt down a land-line to plug into."

"Kelley Drye is reaping the benefits of our service, in terms of increased productivity and client service," said Stephen Krom, Vice President of Marketing, Data and Internet Services for Cingular Wireless. "Their experience is a shining example of how Cingular offers businesses the flexibility to access the services they need to they communicate in the way that best fits their unique needs, and be responsive to their clients' needs and expectations."

Kelley Drye employees use either the RIM 950 or 957 Wireless Handheldä, which are enabled on Cingular Wireless' nationwide Mobitex-based packet data network. Cingular operates the nation's largest wireless data network and is the only one offered by a national wireless carrier.
