Cingular Announces "Cingular Best Solutions" Awards at WAVE 2001

Inaugural Program Recognizes the Most Innovative Uses of the Cingular Interactive Intelligent Wireless NetworkSM

Las Vegas, WAVE 2001 - FieldCentrix, Main Course Technologies and Research In Motion are the first winners of the annual "Cingular Best Solution" Awards, which were announced at WAVE 2001, presented by Cingular Wireless in Las Vegas.

The "Cingular Best Solution" Award for 2001 recognized the most innovative commercially available solutions enabled for the Cingular Interactive Intelligent Wireless NetworkSM in the categories of Field Force Automation, Telemetry and Transactions, and Mobile Professional. The awards this year went to:

  • FieldCentrix (www.fieldcentrix.com), in the category of Field Force Automation, for FieldCentrix Enterprise - a unique wireless solution that allows technicians to wirelessly receive work orders, job site and equipment information and includes a Web-based scheduling and dispatch system as well as integration to back-office accounting and payroll systems. Research In Motion is a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of innovative wireless solutions for the mobile communications market.
