The uKAS enhances the BlackBerry wireless email solution and provides secure wireless access to business critical information residing on the corporate network. Using the unplugin Knowledge Navigator, mobile users can rapidly navigate available enterprise data stores and use simple forms to create and submit requests for information contained within the data store. User requests are encrypted and transmitted over wireless networks. Once behind the firewall, the requests are decrypted and processed by the unplugin Knowledge Access Server. The unplugin Knowledge Access Server locates the requested information, transforms it for optimal viewing, and packages it for efficient transport over the appropriate wireless network.
