Handango Software Announces Handango Forms

Software Delivers Mobile Forms Automation for Mixed Mobile Environments

Using Handango Forms, companies can build mobile forms effortlessly and deploy and update them wirelessly or through wired networks. Field personnel with handheld devices can then gather and submit data wirelessly or through standard synchronization. A real-time database integration client ensures that field data is accessible almost instantly. Handango Forms is now available for BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds™. Versions compatible with devices running Microsoft's Pocket PC and the Palm OS® will be available this quarter.

Forrester Research predicts that mobile applications will eventually replace clipboards and paper-based forms for field workers, resulting in greater productivity with fewer errors. Using Handango Forms, organizations can eliminate costs associated with other methods of data collection, increase field worker productivity and speed access to results. Mobile data collectors including home healthcare professionals, market researchers, mobile sales people, remote service personnel, government inspectors and other field workers can utilize Handango Forms with minimal training.

Going beyond other computerized methods of forms automation, Handango Forms automatically aggregates information from multiple endpoints into virtually any database in real time. Using paper-based forms, field information would be unavailable until forms have been collected and transmitted from the field and manually re-entered and verified for accuracy. With Handango Forms, field information can be accessed in a company's existing database almost as soon as it has been captured.

Today, companies can deploy mobile forms to any handheld running BlackBerry software 2.0+, while support for Palm OS® 3.5+ and Microsoft Pocket PC 2000+ will be available in the first quarter of this year. Other requirements include a desktop PC running Windows 98+.
