Flying Wireless Announces ActiveRunner™ for BlackBerry 5810™
ActiveRunner Personal Assistant Provides Secure, Real-time Mobile and Voice Access to Files and Email on a Remote PC or Network
Los Gatos, CA - Flying Wireless, Inc., a leader in mobile and voice applications, today announced support for the newest addition to the extremely popular BlackBerry™ product line from Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSE: RIM), the BlackBerry 5810™, which combines "always-on" wireless email and voice for GSM/GPRS networks in North America. ActiveRunner for BlackBerry 5810 is a powerful and revolutionary service that allows customers to remotely access critical information on their PC or network, such as email, document files, and application data from their BlackBerry 5810 handheld. This patent-pending service uniquely provides a great benefit to users, by allowing people to get what they need using a voice telephone, wireless or fixed internet connection, and then do something useful with it: read it, listen to it, download it, or forward it on to another person via email.
"The mobile user, to be truly productive, needs a reliable, real-time, easy-to-use application that works the way he or she works. The BlackBerry 5810 handheld, with its combination of wireless data and voice capabilities, provides an ideal platform for the ActiveRunner solution," said Michael Kasolas, Flying Wireless' Chief Operating Officer. "Now, for the first time, the promise of flexible access to critical files at any time, anywhere, is fulfilled."
