R.R. Donnelley Logistics Chooses Novarra with BlackBerry for Wireless Tracking & Scanning
Novarra Releases Wireless Enterprise Suite 2.0 Software
Arlington Heights, IL - Novarra Inc, announced that R.R. Donnelley Logistics, a business of R.R. Donnelley, has selected Novarra's Wireless Enterprise Product Suite and BlackBerry™ from Research In Motion (RIM) to manage on-time performance of deliveries in process and improve routing efficiencies for its Expedited Services customers. Drivers serving SmartTracker customers are also able to scan bar codes in real-time using BlackBerry handhelds, allowing for greater visibility within the delivery cycle. Novarra provides users of BlackBerry handhelds (J2ME-based BlackBerry 5810/5820/6210/6220/6510/6710/6720/6750 and BlackBerry 857/957) with secure intranet and Internet access to web applications automatically. The Wireless Enterprise Product Suite complements RIM's innovative wireless email and Mobile Data Service features by extending business and consumer wireless connectivity to mission-critical information.
