eAgency Extends Nice Office™ to the Property and Casualty Insurance Market
Wireless Enterprise Symposium 2004 - Chicago, IL - eAgency Systems, provider of sales force automation and customer relationship management solutions for the Small Office/Home Office market, announced the release of Nice Office™ Property and Casualty, a web-based eServices application for the property and casualty (P&C) insurance market.
The release of Nice Office™ P&C provides web-based access to underwriting and claims data, customer self-service, and the automation of rating and underwriting workflow. The solution provides stand-alone capabilities or can directly interact with the carrier's back-end systems to provide agents and policy holders the ability to initiate and complete the entire application process.
eAgency also announced its plans to extend the Nice Office™ P&C product to a wireless-based application later this year, using the BlackBerry® wireless platform, developed by Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ:RIMM; TSX:RIM). This will provide wireless, synchronized communications to P&C professionals in the field such as the agents, underwriters, carriers, and claims staff.
"Nice Office P&C is a proven, efficient, and easy-to-deploy web-based portal designed specifically for the property/casualty insurance industry. This solution provides wireless access to critical policy data and transactions, which increases productivity by having agents and policy holders complete their requests on-line," states Chuck Cronin, CEO of eAgency Systems.
"The Property and Casualty market is a strong fit for BlackBerry as there are many remote workers who need access to their email, calendars, contacts, reports, forms, and corporate databases while out of the office. With eAgency and BlackBerry, insurance professionals can increase productivity and improve customer service through wireless access to underwriting and claims data and enhanced workflow," said Mark Guibert, Vice President of Corporate Marketing at Research In Motion.
The announcement was made at RIM's Wireless Enterprise Symposium, where eAgency is a Silver Sponsor. Held in Chicago, May 18-19, the event offers in-depth wireless information for today's forward-thinking enterprises and features more than 50 wireless vendors and carriers as well as industry experts and analysts. eAgency will be providing demonstrations of the Nice Office™ Wireless product throughout the show.
