Announcing Bayalink Liberty for general availability

Waterloo, ON - Bayalink Solutions Corp., a leading innovator in software development and a member of the BlackBerry® Alliance Program, today announces the general availability of Bayalink Liberty™, a virtualization solution for BlackBerry smartphones from Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq:RIMM) (TSX:RIM). Liberty is a combination of sophisticated software and standard hardware technologies that provides the BlackBerry user with a virtualized presentation of the BlackBerry smartphone interface on larger display devices such as laptops and diskless workstations.

As a result, Liberty provides the BlackBerry user with the ability to browse the Internet using either Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, as well as access their BlackBerry smartphone applications including email and attachments (rendered in their native format), contacts, calendar, and other applications on their larger display device.

"We are pleased to be working closely with RIM through the BlackBerry Alliance Program. The feedback received from our Beta program participants has helped us to meet our launch target with a 1.0 release that we are proud of. We believe we are forging a new market in the BlackBerry application space and that this release of Liberty is the first in a very long roadmap ahead of us", said Mark Andress, Co-Founder and President of Bayalink.
