Group Telecom To Offer BlackBerry Wireless Email Solution

Agreement with Research In Motion allows Group Telecom to provide BlackBerry Internet Edition to its customers

Toronto and Waterloo, Ontario - GT Group Telecom Inc. (TSE: GTG.B, NASDAQ: GTTLB) and Research In Motion Limited (TSE: RIM, NASDAQ: RIMM) today announced a marketing agreement whereby Group Telecom has added RIM's BlackBerry Internet Edition™, including the RIM 950 Wireless Handheld™ and RIM 957 Wireless Handheld™, to its service portfolio. Group Telecom's small and medium-sized business customers will benefit from a singlemailbox, offering both wireless and PC-based access to email.

The BlackBerry™ wireless email solution is a strong complement to Group Telecom's Cisco powered Unified Communications platform. The combination of these two communications solutions will allow Group Telecom's customers to seamlessly access, manage and respond to their email, voice and fax messages anytime and anywhere.
