Paradigm4 to Offer RIM's BlackBerry Wireless Email Solution

Waterloo, Ontario and Hartford, Connecticut - Research In Motion Limited (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSE: RIM), a world leader in the mobile communications market and Paradigm4, a leading provider of wireless network services and solutions, today announced Paradigm4 will offer the award-winning BlackBerry™ wireless email solution to its customers. RIM and Paradigm4 signed a supply agreement whereby Paradigm will resell the BlackBerry wireless email solution including RIM's complete line of wireless handhelds. Paradigm4 will also offer a suite of services for government and commercial enterprise customers to access and exchange information in mobile work environments.

BlackBerry is an end-to-end wireless email solution designed to allow mobile users to access their email wherever they go. BlackBerry features an integrated package that includes the industry's most advanced wireless handhelds, innovative software and nationwide airtime on leading wireless data networks.

Paradigm4 plans to complement the BlackBerry solution with value-added services, support and industry-specific application development. For example, Paradigm4 is offering the "E-Attach4" service (from Equinox Solutions Inc.) which allows users to view email attachments on their BlackBerry Wireless Handheld™. E-Attach4 is an easy-to-use server-based solution that converts attachments to a readable format for the handheld. It supports a variety of popular document formats including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF.

"Now that we are selling the popular BlackBerry Handhelds, Paradigm4 will be able to offer businesses a single source for wireless email and custom application development together with value-added services such as E-Attach," said Bruce Boisture, chairman and chief executive officer of Paradigm4. "RIM's technology coupled with our interoperability expertise and innovative services makes this a must-have combination for businesses with workers on-the-go."

"We are pleased to expand our distribution channel with Paradigm4," said David Werezak, Vice President, Marketing, Research In Motion. "We look forward to working together to help customers realize many of the professional and personal benefits offered by BlackBerry wireless email."
