Bell Mobility To Offer BlackBerry Wireless Email Solution
Service Enables Bell Mobility Customers to Access Email and the Internet from the Palm of Their Hand
Waterloo and Toronto, Ontario - Research In Motion Limited (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSE: RIM) (RIM) and Bell Mobility today announced that Bell Mobility will offer the award-winning BlackBerry™ wireless email solution for use on its leading ARDIS wireless data network. Bell Mobility will offer both BlackBerry Exchange Edition™ and BlackBerry Internet Edition™ to customers in Canada.
BlackBerry is an end-to-end wireless email solution designed to allow mobile users to access their email wherever they go. BlackBerry features an integrated package of powerful wireless handhelds with integrated email/organizer software, PC docking cradle, PC synchronization software, optional enterprise server software and affordable airtime on Bell Mobility's ARDIS network, which offers national coverage.
In addition, Bell Mobility has teamed with Neomar, Inc. to offer Neomar's WAP microbrowser for BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds™ enabling access to more than 40 wireless-enabled sites on Bell Mobility's Mobile Browser™ service.
