Globe Telecom and Research In Motion Offer BlackBerry® in the Philippines

Manila, Philippines and Waterloo, Canada - Globe Telecom and Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) have made available the BlackBerry® wireless platform through GlobeSolutions, a unit of Globe Telecom specializing in wireless services, rate plans and handset packages for corporate needs.

Developed by RIM, BlackBerry offers GlobeSolutions' customers secure, always-on, push-based wireless access to their corporate email and data, via an advanced handheld with integrated phone, Internet and organizer applications. BlackBerry operates on Globe Telecom's GSM/GPRS network and includes international roaming capabilities*.
