Transferring files

File transfer occurs automatically when the BlackBerry® smartphone has a Wi-Fi® or USB connection to the computer.

You need to enable mass storage mode to transfer files. Mass storage mode allows the computer to access the media card of the BlackBerry smartphone.

To transfer files to a specific location on your BlackBerry smartphone, create a folder structure in the To BlackBerry folder that is the same as the folder structure on the media card of the BlackBerry smartphone. For example,

• \To BlackBerry\music

• \To BlackBerry\pictures
