Adding a user

You can add up to five users to BlackBerry® Unite!™ software. Users can activate a BlackBerry smartphone, share a calendar and contacts, and integrate up to ten email accounts.

To add a user to BlackBerry Unite! software, complete the following steps:

1. Click the Users button.

2. Click the Add a New User button.

3. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to your computer using a USB cable.

4. Enable mass storage mode on the BlackBerry smartphone.

5. Type the name, email address, and email account password.

The email address and email account password are not required to add a user to the BlackBerry Unite! software. To add an email address later, see Adding an email account.

6. Click the Add button.

7. Click the link to activate the BlackBerry smartphone.

8. Once the activation process is complete, click the Finish button.

9. Disconnect the BlackBerry smartphone from the computer.
