WTLS 2.0 Classes and Definitions

Wireless Transport Layer Security (WTLS) is the security layer of the WAP, providing confidentiality, data integrity and authentication for WAP services. It allows the client and server to achieve authenticated communication in order for wireless transactions to remain secure.

The implementation of WTLS 2.0 that we provide is defined in WAP-199-WTLS from Feb. 2000 and WAP-261-WTLS-20010406-a from April 2001.

WTLS is based on the TLS v1.0 security layer. This packages contains RIM's implementation of WTLS.
